It has been many years now since the big fight between Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao and it was still one of the biggest events ever.
Not just in boxing but in professional sport’s history, it generated massive numbers at the time.
All these years on now somehow Manny Pacquiao at 46 is still not only boxing but returns shortly to try to become the second oldest world champion in history on July 19th.
Manny Pacquiao Has Some Strong Words For Floyd Mayweather Even After All These Years On
Ahead of the fight Pacquiao told EsNews that:
“Floyd Mayweather is not in my top 5 (all time boxers list) – he ran in our fight and fans were disappointed.”
He is not lying about fans being disappointed with the fight at the time.
That said, Mayweather boxed brilliantly and was simply a better boxer than Pacquiao on the night.
Mayweather won an easy unanimous points decision back then.
