Jermall Charlo had an eighteen month lay off and time away from the sport of professional boxing but you would not have known it.
Tonight in Las Vegas he rolled back the years in a classic win, the referee stopping the contest in round 6:

The win improved his record to 34-0-23 KO.
He dropped New Jersey’s Thomas LaManna before that in the bout as well – with a Marcos Maidana-like windmill right hand on the inside:

Charlo still remains unbeaten and with one of the best records in the entire sport.
Hopefully he stays more active now moving forward as the ability is still clearly there, even after such a long break away from boxing.
Jermall Charlo will be in the mix of big fights himself next up, no doubt.
