42-Year-Old Filipino Flash Nonito Donaire Returns To The Ring

As many boxing legends and former world champions continue to stage comeback to the sport one Filipino boxing legend is the latest.

That’s former fighter of the year none other than Nonito ‘The Filipino Flash’ Donaire.

A short time ago the Ring Magazine on the X platform confirmed the following:

“Four-weight world champion Nonito Donaire is set to return to the ring on June 14th at the age of 42 to face Andres Campos for the WBA ‘interim’ bantamweight belt in Argentina.”

Good news for the bantamweight division which just got more interesting.

Donaire is always in good fights and comes to win by knockout every time he fights.

One of the great warriors of the sport for his time, back in the day he beat the great Cuban Guillermo ‘El Chacal’ Rigondeaux when the Cuban was at his best.

He had a couple of losses in recent years, one only to Naoya Inoue though, and hasn’t actually boxed since 2023 – so this will be another comeback.
