Rolly Romero is on top of the world, world champion after beating Ryan Garcia recently in a fight that shocked many.
It didn’t shock some in boxing though, we and many others warned of how good a fighter Romero was, as he beat Garcia by UD recently.
Speaking to ‘The Schmo’ – Rolly Romero said of what’s next amongst other things:
“So, you’re on top of the mountain, on top of the world right now—what’s next for Rolly Romero? Manny Pacquiao. Does Pacquiao get the Barrios and the WBC welterweight championship? None of that matters—I’ll still fight him. That’s who you want next—Manny “The Pac-Man” Pacquiao, 46 years young, always sipping on the fountain of youth? I mean, he’s still fast. He looks really fast right now—really, really fast. Did you completely end the conversation in the rematch between Ryan Garcia and Devin Haney? Did you put a stop to that? I don’t think anyone’s been asking for that rematch after Devin’s horrible performance and Ryan being completely outclassed. If they were to hypothetically have a rematch one day, who would win? Ryan. It doesn’t change anything—Ryan would still beat him.”

That will surprise some that he thinks Ryan Garcia will still win the rematch if he fights Devin Haney.
Particularly after Romero beat Garcia — Ryan Garcia got surgery recently.
