Jermall Charlo returns to boxing this weekend on a big Amazon Prime Video card that features Caleb Plant but is eying bigger fights.
He has been away from boxing for a minute but he’s still unbeaten as a professional.
Speaking to Sean Zittel ahead of the fight this weekend, Charlo said on two of his big rivals Canelo Alvarez and David Benavidez:
“I’m Canelo’s size. I’m his age. I’m in his weight division. So it’s different people who duck quote un quote Canelo. People duck quote on quote Benavidez. I would fight Benavidez at 168. Yes. I would fight Canelo at 168. Fight him at 175? No.”
Canelo takes on Terence Crawford next up and Benavidez is still looking for an opponent.
