Sparring is sparring and is not a real fight but one of boxing’s new champions and stars wanted to set the record straight on something.
Shakur Stevenson is one of the most gifted fighters in the fight game since a young Floyd Mayweather, history will show as much we believe.
He is already a world champion as is another fellow young American, Keyshawn Davis, both are shaking up the world at the moment.
They have sparred but some bogus reports and sentiment seems to still remain about the sparring sessions.
Stevenson clarified all this finally on the X app a short time ago saying himself:
“Me and Key always had good work in sparring. Anybody saying anything different is cap.. Over the years we ain’t do nun but make each other better miss me wit anything else!!”
Good to hear directly from Stevenson.
Keyshawn Davis defends his world title also very shortly, next month.
Stevenson takes on undefeated danger man from Mexico William Zepeda next month only too but if he wins, who knows, maybe a Keyshawn Davis fight can happen.
It is all happening right now in boxing.
Big fights everywhere — happy days.
