Chris Eubank Jr On If 100 Men Could Fight One Gorilla

Chris Eubank Jr On If 100 Men Could Fight One Gorilla

Boxing has produced some characters over the years, perhaps none so as much at least in Europe as one Chris Eubank Senior in the UK.

He was a world champion for years at 168 pounds and one of the toughest human beings, not just boxers, alongside his rival Steve Collins of Dublin and Nigel Benn of the UK, to fight in that time.

Speaking on his talk show ‘Call Chris Eubank’ — Chris Eubank senior was asked an eyebrow raising question this week from one caller:

Do you think 100 men could take on one gorilla, and how many Chris Eubanks would it take to take on one gorilla?

His reply was the following:

“Well, one Chris Eubank would not be thinking about taking on or attacking a gorilla because I’m not an idiot—not for strength, but for taking advantage of anything or anyone. No, we don’t work that way. I love animals; they have as much right to be here as I do. Would 100 men be able to beat a gorilla? Well, of course, a gorilla has the strength of maybe 20 men, but not 100. Unfortunately, the cruelty of man—they make weapons, and those weapons are munitions. The reason silverbacks are probably the most intelligent of all animals on Earth is because they’re gentle, they’re silent, they’re intelligent. They’re not baboons.”

Always interesting from Chris Eubank senior.

His son Chris Eubank Jr recorded a famous win in boxing history recently against Conor Benn in a successful stadium show for boxing in the UK.

The Eubanks shocked the world in a way recently with Chris Eubank senior turning up to the fight at the last minute in this epic moment.
