Ryan Garcia went very quiet recently after his shock loss to Rolly Romero at New York’s Time Square but he’s finally brought that to an end here.
Garcia was coming off over a year layoff from the sport when he stepped straight back into a world title fight with Romero recently.
Not to be, he lost by UD but said on the X platform a short time ago:
“Will be hosting a space to clear the air for many things, largely bc I haven’t been super active in talking and expressing my self and what is going on with me and my career. I haven’t been as transparent as much as I could be. I will probably hosting this week sometime. Those who lost faith in me that is okay, to all the people turning your back on me, I say thank you God for cutting the grass for me, I will be back on top, I’ve been down before but with God I’ve always been able to rise again. Boxing and Life”
Good to hear.
Garcia is a warrior and was dealing with a sick mother with cancer going into the fight recently.
The fact he still took the fight and stepped in there and fought shows you the strength of the man.
He’ll be back. That Devin Haney rematch is still a huge fight for fans.
He was also dealing with injury going into the fight recently and is now on the mend following surgery that he confirmed.
