Ryan Garcia has undergone successful surgery and after going under the knife some conflicting reports and posts appeared online after it.
Garcia lost his comeback fight on points recently to Rolly Romero in a disappointing fight at New York’s Time Square.
Not to be for him but he is on the mend physically now, saying on the X app:
“I went and got the surgery for my hand and what I needed to get done, I never used that as an excuse for my fight. The media is going to report the surgery. I’m just blessed it was done and successful. Thank you to all for the love and support from the community and people who have been supporting me in my career love yall”
Good news for those hoping to see him back in the boxing ring later this year.
Garcia is still one of the biggest names in the entire sport, not just in America.
The fact he went back into the deep end so quick with Romero after a year suspension from boxing shows you what he is all about.
A warrior through and through, hopefully the Haney rematch can still happen.
