Dmitry Bivol Makes It Onto Forbes Sport And Forbes Russia Cover

Bivol On Where His Stoic Mentality Comes From

Forbes are smart people, anyone who knows anything about America and media knows that, they have made another smart move in boxing here.

The likes of ESPN and Forbes saw the potential in one Claressa Shields in boxing many years ago.

Now they are seeing the worldwide star potential of newly undisputed light-heavyweight champion Dmitry Bivol of Russia as well — as he posted the following on Instagram:

America and Russia clearly back on more cordial terms now, not to mention the fact UFC and boxing continue to come closer together with Dana White and Turki Alalshikh’s TKO Boxing — with leading MMA fighters Jon Jones and Nate Diaz expected in Russia soon to coach the equivalent of an Ultimate Fighter Russia TV series.

As for boxing, the above is tremendous for the sport that another professional athlete, from anywhere, as a sportsman has made it onto the cover of Forbes again.

Undisputed heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk of Ukraine made it into Forbes Ukraine’s cover here not long ago as well.

This is happening for boxing and athletes in boxing more and more lately — and is another continued commercial vote of confidence in boxing.

Happy days.
