New world champion Rolly Romero is flying high after shocking the world and beating Ryan Garcia recently but this is a stretch from him right here.
Romero upset the apple cart recently on points in New York over Garcia and now big fights and big things only are ahead.
That said, in an interview with Fight Hub, Romero has called out both Manny Pacquiao and one David Benavidez.
The first being already in a fight against Mario Barrios next up on July 19th.
The other in Benavidez being a light-heavyweight world champion — many divisions above Romero’s weight category and a total impossibility.
Romero beat Garcia by UD recently to win the WBA welterweight title.
Don’t expect him up at 175 pounds in a fight with light-heavyweight ‘Monster’ Benavidez anytime soon.
