Hamzah Sheeraz Speaks On Moving To 168 Pounds And Fighting Berlanga

Hamzah Sheeraz returns to the ring and moves to super-middleweight soon for the first time and he’s going straight in the deep end.

No messing around and he’s going in with a danger man in the division who fought Canelo Alvarez not long ago.

Big puncher Edgar Berlanga.

Speaking to Darren Barker on ‘First Round TV’, Hamzah Sheeraz said:

“He’s dangerous, a puncher, a legitimate 168-pounder, but someone I’m going to beat—not just someone I think I’ll beat, but someone I will beat. It’ll put me right back at the top, one of the big names at 168. It’s a challenge I’m really looking forward to because, after my last fight and the headspace I’m in now, I feel unbeatable.”

Full of confidence which is a good thing of course for any fighter.

But it is a dangerous assignment and moving to a new division for the first time too, it won’t be an easy fight for him.

Berlanga bounced back from the first loss of his career to Canelo recently but Hamzah Sheeraz is still undefeated and many are tipping him for big things.
