Anthony Joshua surgery details have now come to the surface and been revealed ahead of what will surprise some in boxing in 2025 no doubt.
Joshua, the former heavyweight champion, is coming off a vicious knockout loss in 2024 to Daniel Dubois.
He has been travelling and training in Africa recently and now Boxing Kingdom on the X platform, per Chris Mannix, reports:
“Anthony Joshua’s elbow surgery is actually next week and he could return to the ring, from September. Joshua could rematch Dubois if he manages to defeat Usyk in their July 19th rematch, or he could fight Tyson Fury in a UK Super fight.”
So it now looks likely Joshua will still return to the boxing ring this year.
Post surgery.
Still a huge name in boxing and worldwide professional sport.
Deontay Wilder the former WBC heavyweight champion is also returning next month.
As for Joshua, that Fury fight remains a big one that can sell out a stadium in the UK at anytime.
