Tommy Fury Doubts Brother Tyson Fury Will Comeback

Talks recently suggest Tyson Fury will come back to boxing this year for a fight but his brother Tommy Fury is totally sure about that.

Tommy Fury returns on Friday night in Budapest, Hungary, in his first fight this year.

Speaking ahead of the bout to the Stomping Ground, Tommy Fury said of his brother Tyson Fury returning to the sport:

“To be honest with you, I’ve not even talked to him about boxing, not one bit. As far as I know, from what I’ve seen, I spoke to him, he’s just been enjoying retirement, to be honest. I think he just came back from Barbados the other day. He’s been on nice holidays, he’s just been chilling out, and that’s all he needs to do. He ain’t got any more to give. I tell people this: all right, he’s going to come back to do what? He’s won all the belts, he’s fought everybody, and he’s done what he’s needed to do. You can’t spend the money he’s got, so what’s the point, you know what I mean? In that weight division, with the type of men, why risk anything, you know what I’m saying? There’s no point to risk anything when you’ve already done it all. So, I’d like to see him stay retired, to be honest, and I’m pretty sure everyone else around him would too. But I don’t know, it’s up to him, it’s his decision, and whatever he wants to do, I’m sure he’ll do all right.”

Interesting.

Tyson Fury seems to be training a lot lately again and seems in good form.

It comes down to what the offer is really to get him back in the ring.

It will take a lot of money obviously to get him out of bed.
