It was a rather enjoyable evening for one Devin Haney in New York and not so much for his competitor Ryan Garcia in the ‘Fatal Fury’ bill in NYC.
Haney walked away with a UD points win over Jose Ramirez that saw him dispel and crush his demons of last year, not overly impressively, that said, but he got the win — that’s what counts.
He will fight better than that soon and improve.
After his rival Ryan Garcia lost to Rolly Romero on the same bill Haney asked Garcia’s corner straight after the defeat here below, laughing at them:
– “What happened?”
Classic Haney on the night as well.
Obviously the rematch is something Garcia will still wish to make this year but now he needs to go back to the drawing board.
Great win for Rolly Romero this weekend.
People are not giving him the hat tip on that enough, he upset the apple card and brutally ripped up the script.
