Oscar De La Hoya the former world champion now boxing promoter appears to want to make a comeback after seeing this in New York.
De La Hoya stepped into the boxing ring at Times Square yesterday to get a sense of the atmosphere in the iconic landmark ahead of tonight’s Fatal Fury boxing card.
He promotes Ryan Garcia fighting tonight against Rolly Romero in the main event.
Speaking to DAZN, De La Hoya said the place is ‘special’ and that he wants to fight there and joked Devin Haney’s father and manager would be ‘too easy’ if he wanted a fight.
The two have had a lot of bad blood in the build up to this weekend.
