Jake Paul will fight Julio Cesar Chavez Jr in a professional boxing bout next month on June 28th and has given an update on it to kick things off.
The fight is on next month and was not a bluff from Chavez Jr or Paul, it happens in California next month only.
Paul, speaking on the X platform, has confirmed:
“Presser Wed May 14th Los Angeles”
Goes to show Salvador Rodriguez of ESPN Latin America (hat tip) was spot on about this all along in 2025.
He was the first one to comment that the fight was under discussion, after Canelo moved on from fighting Jake Paul at the last minute — to instead fight William Scull on Saturday.
