Carl Froch the former world champion now podcaster is known for his often scathing analysis in boxing so this is very out of the ordinary for him.
Froch is not quick to give out praise unless it is earned and warranted, as it should be.
Jake Paul gave his three favorite fights in boxing since he started in boxing and Froch had a very strange reply to him on the X platform, saying:
“My favourite fight was you beating Mike Tyson, one of the most feared heavyweights of all time. You must be so proud. Go Champ!”
Many in reality were disappointed with the Mike Tyson fight.
One which Paul won on points last year.
Paul however is looking to do big things this year and shortly will box Chavez Jr in a huge fight next month.
In theory, if he wins, which he is a big underdog in though, he may be in a big fight or maybe even a title fight later in 2025 according to many in boxing.
