Conor Benn and Chris Eubank Jr showed themselves as warriors the same as their boxing legend fathers. This was quite honorable from Benn after below.
Everyone has been impressed today with this weekend’s boxing, it was that good a fight — people are calling for the rematch already.
Speaking after the contest at the official post-fight presser, Conor Eubank Jr said:
“I looked at Chris Senior, grabbed him by the neck, and said, “Mate, I’m so happy you’re here. I’m so happy you turned up, because outside of everything else—outside of all the noise, the promotion, and the fight—your relationship with your dad never goes. That’s always there, that’s long-standing, that’s without boxing. What’s boxing, you know? I’d pick the relationship with my dad over boxing any day of the week. So, to see them—if this has brought them together, that’s worth its weight in gold. That’s worth its weight in gold.”
