We have a fight on now and no more escalating fines for Chris Eubank Jr after some news that has just come in today on the day of the Benn fight.
Eubank Jr risked nearly a one million dollar fine if he missed weight a third time today.
Not the case, Boxing Kingdom on X, has now reported:
“JUST IN: Chris Eubank Jr has made weight this morning.”
Very good. The weight controversy is now over.
He must now not come in more than 170 pounds by the time of fight tonight or risk likely more fines or possibly jeopardize the fight.
Light food and sleep is likely all he will be doing today before the fight.
