Chris Eubank Jr is a smart mental warfare merchant and mind games operator in the fight game and he’s at it again here ahead of the Benn fight.
Conor Benn is no slouch in the mind games department either, mind you.
Speaking on the ‘Born Rivals’ program from DAZN, Chris Eubank Jr said ahead of the bout:
“Of course I got under Conor’s skin. He doesn’t know where he’s at or what day it is. I’ve rattled his entire team. It’s my job to shake these snakes as much as I can.”
Interesting.
That is debatable.
Whether he has got in anyone’s head, that is.
Just because Benn was going to chin him after being egged doesn’t mean who wound him up or provoked a reaction.
That was simply fight instinct and self defense.
