The WBC President who is involved in running the new 2025 Boxing Grand Prix has provided some important clarification and context on it.
The tournament got off to a good start so far in phase 1 this year.
However it is not over yet it turns out and part two will continue in June per the WBC President on X:

Good to see there will be more shortly.
Hopefully more information on social media about the fighters can be provided by all parties between now and June.
