It has been a busy few months for Benavidez after he beat Daivd Morrell last time out.
Dmitry Bivol vacated the WBC world title at light-heavyweight recently which was elevated to Benavidez.
Now he’s got the WBA belt and said on instagram:
“Thank you @wbaboxingofficial for dinner, and for presenting me with my first WBA belt. It’s a belt I’ve been wanting for a long time, I’m so grateful!”
Well deserved.
