Boxing star Ryan Garcia is in a big fight himself soon but took some brief time out to talk of news of a big event in the sport.
That’s the Jake Paul vs Chavez Jr fight that was announced earlier — which will have a cruiserweight unification world title fight on it as well.
Speaking to Fight Hype — Garcia said of the fight:
“I don’t really know what state Julio is in. Is he good? I mean, can Jake handle a Mexican pressure fighter? That’s tough if you’re not used to it.”
He makes a good point.
Maybe if Chavez Jr was to not train hard for the fight he might be found out and beaten by Paul.
But if Chavez Jr trains for this in the weeks ahead he really should be knocking Paul out.
