Claressa Shields claps back at Alycia Baumgardner in an online verbal sparring match on social media between the two female boxing champions.
There has been a lot of back and forth between the two recently and Shields has been disrespected by Jake Paul’s MVP which is unnaceptable.
Shields said of MVP boxer Baumgardner on X a short time ago:
“Man stfu Alycia! You and your weak ass promoter mentioning me. You the same mf went on a “Imma fight Claressa Shields tour” during your “PED” case! Knowing damn well you are too small! Nakisa sitting there “oh Claressa is 190” then you “if she wants to make the biggest pay day of her life” YOU AINT NEVER MADE NO WHERE NEAR THE MONEY I’ve MADE! I hope they paying you good! I’m not emotional I’m tired of y’all! Leave me alone!!!! #GWOAT #BIGSHARK”
Ultimately Shields is a much bigger star, brand and fighter than Baumgardner as well as bigger than Paul and MVP Promotions.
Paul knows how important Shields is for America and the country and to not extend a couple of tickets to the Serrano vs Taylor III fight is disgusting.
People like ESPN and Forbes, smart people, are mad about Shields. Paul won’t win the PR game against Claressa Shields and MVP, rest assured.
On a business level too Paul is harming his own event by doing so as simply giving Shields a couple of comp tickets to MSG on July 11th will make the show and event way bigger on Netflix as well.
Paul is no fool as a boxing promoter and surely is aware of this.
