May 2nd in New York is going to be unbelievable for boxing now with this highly praised Japanese boxing prospect added to an epic card.

It is the big one next month for boxing in NY and on the same weekend on May 3rd in Saudi with Canelo vs William Scull of course.

Now Mike Coppinger on X confirms:

“Reito Tsutsumi, a Japanese boxing prodigy, will make his pro debut May 2 in Times Square in a six-round junior lightweight fight, sources told @ringmagazine. Tsutsumi, who lost just twice in 61 amateur fights, will face Levale Whittington.”

Adding:

“This rounds out the four-fight card that includes Ryan Garcia-Rolly Romero, Devin Haney-Jose Ramirez and Teofimo Lopez-Arnold Barboza.”
