Frank Sanchez and Filip Hrgovic Ordered For Heavyweight Title Eliminator

Frank Sanchez And Filip Hrgovic

In a surprise title eliminator announcement Frank Sanchez and Filip Hrgovic are getting close to contesting one of the main four heavyweight titles.

Well, maybe not for Croatian Hrgovic, he had a good win recently over Joe Joyce of the UK.

He likely is taking on hit and miss Cuban Frank Sanchez soon per this from Ring Magazine on X:

“The IBF has ordered a heavyweight final eliminator between Frank Sanchez and Filip Hrgovic, with the winner to be made the mandatory challenger for Daniel Dubois’ world title. Derek Chisora is currently the mandatory, with the position to be officially ordered on April 22nd.”

Clearly there is a lot going on in the heavyweight division.

In a good way.

Chisora is looking to have his last and 50th fight in pro boxing as a world title challenge next up.

As for the two above, the Croatian has been very impressive recently, dangerous fighter.

Sanchez lost his unbeaten run not long ago and like some Cubans, they can be very dangerous or not very, pending on the night.
