Chris Eubank senior the former world champion will soon see his son Chris Jr take on Conor Benn but he’s making some big calls on a big fight.
That’s a fight that he apparently wants to see his son in.
Against none other than Canelo Alvarez as Boxing Kingdom on X says:
“As much as we want to see Canelo Álvarez vs Terence Crawford, the weights are wrong so it shouldn’t happen. The fight we should be looking for is Canelo Álvarez vs Chris Eubank Jr. That fight I would back. That makes sense”. [@ChrisEubank]”
That’s a big call to be making with respect to the legend that is Chris Eubank senior.
First off his son is in a battle soon on April 26th with Conor Benn.
Although his son is a favorite for most, Conor Benn more and more seem to be giving a good chance on April 26th.
As well Alvarez is tied up with two fights already this year.
2026 is surely what he is getting at above, still, a big call.
