The big Times Square boxing event in early May of 2025 will be a first for boxing at Times Square but also a first in another way now.
Boxing star Ryan Garcia takes on Rolly Romero and Devin Haney fights Jose Ramirez on the same bill.
Also Teofimo Lopez will square off against Arnold Barboza in an epic triple header bill.
However Boxing Kingdom on X now reports:
“Ryan Garcia’s fight on May 2nd in Times Square NYC, is an ‘invite only’ event. It’s estimated that 300 VIP’s will be in attendance.”
Only three hundred people for the total audience is an interesting move.
Obviously they have gone down the up market route and are going to price things high in all aspects.
Look, it doesn’t stop the event being an epic one and what a weekend of boxing next month too with Canelo vs William Scull the same weekend.
