The UK’s Joyce and Croatia’s Hrgovic have faced off before this weekend in boxing as it turns out.
Back in 2013 in the amateurs when Joe Joyce won that night on a close points win. In the World Boxing Series at the time.
Speaking at the final press conference Joyce said:
“Well I know exactly what to expect. I’ve fought him before and trained with Abel before. So I’m prepared for what’s coming. Like I said he’s got a lot of mileage. He’s been in the sport a long time and has had plenty of tough fights. But I think it’s going to be a great fight and I’m looking forward to knocking him out on Saturday night.”
