Recently Jake Paul, the entertainer, pro boxer and licensed boxing promoter got engaged to women’s skating sensation Jutta Leerdam.
Not long ago Paul was literally on the verge of boxing against boxing superstar Canelo Alvarez.
At the last minute Alvarez went in a different direction and passed on the Jake Paul fight.
Speaking to TMZ Sports a short time ago Canelo had no bitterness towards Paul and said:
“All the best to him and his fiancée. My advice? Be patient and put love into the relationship. That’s it.”
Alvarez has been dropping wisdom in many aspects lately.
As for Paul, he has recently signed a number of professional boxers to his MVP Promotions.
Canelo returns on May 3rd in Saudi Arabia when he fights the world champion from Cuba William Scull.
If he wins that then sets up the Terence Crawford super fight in September.
