Today is a new day and a new time for boxing where new world champions and pound for pound stars have arrived.
In the US that contingent is lead by the new generation of the likes of Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis, Shakur Stevenson, Ryan Garcia, Devin Haney and Teofimo Lopez (three of which box on the same card in early May).
Ring Magazine on X asked who when all is said and done will have the best career of the three — the response was interesting:
Gifted and defensive genius Shakur Stevenson the one for many there.
People are quick to be writing off Gervonta Davis at the moment, silly stuff really.
All five have tremendous careers immediately in front of them in the sport, without doubt.
