Undisputed women’s heavyweight champion Claressa Shields has had an important update.
Her boxing career and star power on news in the sport has been going from strength to strength all the time but recently a bizarre incident happened with the Michigan Athletic Commission following her recent fight against Danielle Perkins.
She was temporarily suspended after the fight as all boxers on the show were found to have trace amounts of marajuana in their system due to the smoke in the arena on the night.
Shields confirmed as much on X earlier:

Good news for her and women’s boxing of course.
The whole thing wasn’t a good look for the Michigan Commission either, a state that rarely has big time combat sports and professional sports events come to it.
Not only was the event a big success as a sell out but they have in their own State the greatest women’s boxer that ever lived, literally.
Surely they will be more careful not to let so many substances into the crowd next time to guard against the above.
