The Eubank name in boxing is one that is well known at this stage but another notch to its belt has been added unexpectedly.
Not from former world champion Chris Eubank or his son Chris Eubank Jr. – but from the former’s nephew and latter’s cousin — Harlem Eubank.
Harlem Eubank impressed on Friday night in the UK on free network television on Channel 5 with a 10th round stoppage over the Tyrone McKenna, dropping him multiple times before the end.
He showed he can box and brawl when he had too, good scrap and win.
Harlem Eubank improved his professional boxing record to 21-0-9 KO with the win and ahead of the big Conor Benn vs Chris Eubank Jr fight in April — maybe the Eubank’s will look at this as a momentum generator for them.
