Some further big news continues to keep rolling in for the sport of professional boxing and this is the latest in 2025.
Netflix are by far the biggest streaming company in the world.
They showed Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson in 2024 and Katie Taylor vs Amanda Serrano (among other fights too) on the undercard last year.
Now, per Chris Mannix on X, Netflix are getting heavier into boxing:
“Netflix is aggressively moving into boxing’s big event space. Taylor-Serrano is one. Two other fights very much on Netflix’s radar, per sources: A planned Canelo-Crawford matchup and a hoped-for showdown between Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury.”
This comes on the back of the Taylor vs Serrano III fight news for the summer recently.
The further two fights are much bigger of course and this is massive for boxing, absolutely massive for the sport.
A continued vote of confidence in the sport from the big players commercially continue to be made all the time.
Boxing is flying but things will get much better soon.
