Claressa Shields the women’s undisputed heavyweight champion was a keen fan of last weekend’s big fight.
Gervonta Davis and Lamont Roach fought it out to a majority draw with controversy coming in round nine when Davis took a knee, citing grease in his eye from his hair after the fight.
A new song has been even released on the subject to which Shields joked on X:
“I agree that the grease burned his eyes, but this a Bop (laughs).”
Ultimately people can say what they want on the fight, the reality is Davis has given people more knockouts and entertainment then most of the best boxers in the world over the last ten years.
The rematch will be a tremendous fight too — lots to look forward to.
