Some back and forth is going on between boxers and pundits alike on social media today after the weekend’s big fight.
Not the usual type, more hard hitting than usual.
It is claimed by Lamont Roach and others that the fight at the weekend may get changed from a draw to a win in favor or Roach whom said:
“Word round the block yall fav fight finna be 30-1 not 30-0-1…2X x 2 Division champ”
Not only him, combats sports journalist Luke Thomas also said today on X:
“If they overturn Saturday’s result, it’d be the first good decision an athletic commission has made in some time.”
Commission’s don’t overturn results of fights in the sport for reasons such as the above, period.
A rematch is the best solution.
Both fighters will do great in the rematch, a huge fight already, out of nowhere too.
