How Bivol Is Motivated To Avenge Beterbiev Defeat

Dmitry Bivol has waited a while for tonight since the first loss as a professional of his career.

He lost a close points defeat to Artur Beterbiev last year and tonight has his opportunity for vengeance.

Speaking to DAZN ahead of the fight Bivol vowed:

“As an athlete—all athletes don’t like to lose. They always want revenge. When they lose, they want to find out what went wrong, what I did wrong. I need to fix it. I want another chance. That’s me too—I’m like that. It’s not just about the belts. I want to change, yeah.”

Beterbiev on the other hand is maybe even more motivated himself, too, in that he wants to hold on to what he has now.

He’s also stronger and without injury this time too.

A recipe for a great fight tonight.

Roll on.
