Oscar Duerte had a big win this weekend that grabbed some attention in the sport including from a big name.
De La Hoya’s Golden Boy put on a good card this weekend in the US of which Duerte was fighting on.
After Duerte’s win De La Hoya said per Ring Magazine on X via DAZN:
“Oscar De La Hoya comparing the performances of Oscar Duarte and Keyshawn Davis against their common opponent, Miguel Madueño: “Keyshawn Davis couldn’t knock out Madueño… That tells you a lot about Oscar Duarte and about Keyshawn because he just won the world title last night.” [@DAZNBoxing]”
This Duerte has an immediate future ahead of him.
