Many believe David Benavidez by right has earned the Canelo Alvarez fight for many years now.
Benavidez recently scored a huge win on Amazon Prime over David Morrell.
Reacting on Instagram to the news Canelo will fight Terence Crawford as part of a four-fight deal, Benavidez said on Instagram:
“Imagine if canelo would just agree and fight me already . it’s not about the money it’s about what the sport needs right now and we owe it to the fans. Without a doubt it would go down as the best Mexican shootout in boxing history . Let’s give the fans what they deserve!!! We 300 percent confident on this side but I can’t say the same for the other side”
He makes some good fights.
Who is to say as one of those four fights for Canelo that Benavidez will not be one of them.
Don’t write that off from happening.
Benavidez is becoming a big star now on Amazon Prime.
