Joseph Parker is not to be underestimated by IBF heavyweight champion or anybody in the division.
He knows what it takes to win big fights and is a former world champion himself.
Speaking to former Irish world champion Carl Frampton at the Face Off Joseph Parker said of his upcoming fight with Dubois:
“Oh, listen, it’s a very important fight, a big fight, and a big challenge. You have a fighter like Dubois who’s come through with three good wins, wins that I didn’t think he was going to get, and I give credit to him for getting those wins in the fashion that he did. I feel like he’s going to be the best Daniel Dubois that I want to be fighting, and this is going to be the best Joe Parker I’ve been. I’ve been patient, I’ve been working hard, I’ve had two good wins against Deontay Wilder and Zhilei Zhang, but Dubois is going to bring a different test and a different challenge from Joshua.”
The two fight on February 22nd in a super fight in the Middle East.
Roll on boxing’s first heavyweight title fight of the year shortly.
