After bettering David Morrell in an instant classic tonight in boxing David Benavidez sent out a statement and had strong words after.

“So he won (Morrell) two rounds? I Don think it deserve a rematch. I feel like we are trying to put us in the number one spot (for big fights). Right now I just want to take a break, I trained really hard.”
He added:
“You guys know me I am willing to fight the best fighters on the table. After I beat Bivol and Beterbiev there is still going to be fighters coming up.”
