Sunday night boxing is back tonight this weekend and Claressa Shields the living legend returns to the ring.
29-year-old Shields is one of the greatest American citizens that has ever stepped foot on US soil in the country.
Not only that, she is widely, considered to be easily the best female boxer of all time — having being first to win double Olympic gold as an amateur but then go on to smash that record to pieces at the highest level of the sport, as a professional.
At just 29-years-old going from world women’s welterweight champion to women’s world heavyweight champion.
Speaking ahead of the fight to Whistle Shields revealed at just 15-years-old she used to fight men twice her age back then.
It is little wonder that Shields has become such a success as a prize fighter.
She takes on Danielle Perkins later on being shown on DAZN and is giving away a lot of height and reach in this one, for the first time though, as a professional.
