In some very unexpected news the former WBC world heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder is set to return to the sport of boxing.
Wilder has been boxing on and off in recent years.
However per Boxing Kingdom on X he’s due a comeback soon:
“Deontay Wilder will OFFICIALLY announce his next fight this week.”
Interesting.
Maybe he is thinking of just one last big fight and that’s it, leave on a winning note if so.
While he is not in his prime he is still a big name and still has enough power in either hand, that if it lands, will knock any heavyweight out cold.
Time will tell what happens this year with Wilder.
