First World Title Fight In Boxing Of 2025 This Week

Oh yes after a break over Christmas with fight postponements big time boxing is back with a vengeance this week on Wednesday.

Jai Opetaia of Australia the world cruiserweight champion is cruising through the sport lately battering everything that comes near him, a quality fighter.

He’s back this week on January 8th and is up for the fight and defends his IBF cruiserweight world title against David Nyika at the Gold Coast Convention Centre in Australia.

Many think this Opetaia can go much bigger this year though and go after the biggest fights in the sport.

Undefeated in 26 fights with 20 knockouts keep an eye this year, an excellent fighter but a tough fight this week on Wednesday first up and not guaranteed against a tough unbeaten New Zealander.

Great scrap this week in Australia. Roll on.
