Don Charles recently had his first world champion in boxing and it was heavyweight champion of the world Daniel Dubois no less.
Credit to people like Bob Arum who spotted the ability of Dubois years ago, amongst others, not least Don Charles of course.
Dubois did fight undisputed champion Usyk before in a loss and Charles has said of Usyk:

Usyk is most definitely a real believer in God. Without question.
So the above seems a little out of place.
Usyk won by stoppage against Dubois in round 9 but in round 5 Usyk was dropped with a punch many thought was legit, only for it to be ruled a low blow.
Ultimately a rematch will clear up any controversy in 2025 or whenever.
