Turki Alalshikh isn’t just playing a part in growing boxing bigger than the UFC and bringing the East and West closer together through boxing.
He’s doing much more.
Something bigger than boxing and professional sport no less.
Speaking to Talk Sport he said he’s going to try to get legendary band Oasis, the two Gallagher brothers Liam and Noel, back together and on stage at a boxing event on September 21st at Wembley between Anthony Joshua vs Daniel Dubois:
“What is going to happen on Wembley, I hope to see his brother (Liam) with him. I hope so. It will be something amazing if we have them (Oasis) together (at Joshua vs Dubois).”
He added:
“We will try. We will try. Why not?”
If he pulled that off it would be bigger than anything.
Bringing the two Rockstar brothers back together again through the spot of boxing at Joshua vs Dubois would elevate boxing as a sport to legendary status in these times.
