Broner suffered a surprise defeat to Blair Cobbs who in fairness shocked many and won a deserved victory.
Not only that he knocked Broner down heavily in the fight.
Broner however after the fight revealed he fought through extensive injuries saying he had a fractured elbow and torn shoulder – as well as losing two teeth DAZN reports.
A fractured elbow and torn shoulder are significant injuries.
That will side-line Broner surely for the rest of 2024 at least.
Time will tell if Broner wishes to make a comeback in the sport.
