The John Fury headbutt took the boxing world by storm today in Saudi Arabia at the arrivals of his son and team Usyk.
It seemed a lot of mayhem, generally speaking, was what occurred. Typical of big fight press weeks.
Tyson’s brother Shane Fury was in the thick of the action when the headbutt occurred.
Speaking to BoxNation afterwards Shane Fury said:
“These modern day people who don’t think there is any danger. They get in someone’s face. Touching noses. And there’s damage. People’s blood is high so that’s it. You are dealing with schoolboys here. Are they real people, I don’t know? Just modern day people. It is what it is. It’s all banter. So is he (he is cut too). The same fella who had a lot to say, who looked like a little *******. Whatever happened. He looked like a little boy. This is what I mean. Get in the real world. Be nice to people. Just be nice and nothing will happen.”
He added:
“Listen they’ll start it and we’ll finish it.”
Certainly the calmness between the two fighters will be tested this week with both of their teams.
