The weigh-ins are in from Las Vegas ahead of the big Cinco De Mayo all-Mexican weekend boxing bonanza between Saul Alvarez and Jaime Munguia.
What a fight in store. The results are in from the early Canelo vs Munguia weigh-in today (the official weigh in ceremony is later) and here they are:
Canelo Alvarez – 166.8lbs
Jaime Munguia – 167.4lbs
That’s what they weighed a short time ago.
Impressive.
All four belts will be on the line tomorrow night in the super-middleweight division.
Both comfortably came inside the weight above, particularly Alvarez.
That shows you just how seriously he’s taken this fight.
He will surely have an edge in many fans’ eyes after the above.
Coming in that light is a good sign.
Munguia too, he made the weight well.
What a scrap in store.
